We regret to inform you that on August 28th we lost the very talented and inspirational Chadwick Boseman. Boseman’s career as an actor saw him working in shows such as CSI: NY, Persons Unknown and Fringe. As well as movies of the likes of The Kill Hole, 21 Bridges, Message from the King and the recent Da 5 Bloods.
His career also spanned a variety of iconic roles such as James Brown in Get on up, Thurgood Marshall in Marshall, Jackie Robinson in 42 and of course the well known King T’Challa or The Black Panther.
His roles broke the sterotypes that are usually shown when casting African American characters. His work as Black Panther finally gave younger kids a hero to be for halloween that actually looked like them. One of the many things we can learn from Chadwick Boseman’s life is his ability to see beyond himself. His work did more for than just himself.
Despite falling ill he still managed to keep pursuing his dream and continue to work. We can all learn from this as we all strive for the things we’re working for. Chadwick’s legacy will forever remain prevalent, may he rest in peace and we’re so thankful for all he has done for our people.
Thank you Chadwick for your work you will be missed.
